Yuksek feat. Oh Land – Last of Our Kinds (Michael Garcon Remix)
French electronic music producer and DJ Yuksek, launches his label Partyfine, with a first EP out today!
The first release of the label is the result of an encounter in New York with pop Danish singer and producer Oh Land, and an extension of the collaboration with French electro-pop band Juveniles, whose debut album Yuksek is producing.
The EP also features remixes from Michael Garçon (AS Dragon), Sam Tiba (Club Cheval) and DJ-producer Kasper Bjørke. Purchase his EP here!

Strangers – Something New [Official Video + Remix MP3]
London-based trio, Strangers, just released their debut single “Something New” via Just Off Pop.
The single is a collaboration with producer Dimitri Tikivoi (The Horrors, Goldfrapp, Placebo, Little Boots) whilst the B-side, “Never Enough” was produced by drummer Raife Hacking. Both tracks feature guest vocals from Eleanor Fletcher of Crystal Fighters.

Bravestation – Somewhere We Belong [Stream + Mp3]
IV by Bravestation continues the band’s audible metamorphosis, mixing elements of R&B, New Wave and Electronic music into an atmospheric pop landscape. The noticeable shift in style is influenced by the unfamiliar environment it was created in. “We self-recorded these songs in the cloud, it allowed us to be creative when we were feeling inspired. It was nice to escape the hands on the clock that inevitably take a hold of you when you’re in a professional studio.” notes Derek. Collaboratively, the group gathered on weekends to shape, produce and mix these digital figments of recorded imagination in their makeshift studio/downtown apartment with help from long-time collaborator/mix engineer Andrew Heppner and live sound engineer Alexander Wessel. The result is a reflection of a band interested in exploring new musical ideas and following their artistic vision down whatever path it chooses. It’ll be interesting to hear where it goes next.

Today I received new of a new collaboration on the scene. Cleavage the duo have just released a bootleg titled ‘My Body’. The original track from R. Kelly – Bump ‘n Grind. The track is pretty catchy and would be dope to play in a set. Above is a music video put together by GreenWeedz which takes the tracks’ sexiness to the next level.
Mr Little Jeans – Runaway (WAVVES Remix)
Some pairings are just meant to be: peanut butter and chocolate, yupsters and absinthe drips, Mr. Little Jeans…and Wavves? Seems like a disaster but sounds like a dream: “Runaway” as heard through a wall of Brillo pads, trashy guitars and sandy reverb nearly bests the original. It’s hypnotic, dark and feels like sleeping under the boardwalk with no blanket. This is weekend rock, through and through.
